Job Description:
A company is looking for a Claims Examiner - Workers
Compensation.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze and process complex workers' compensation claims to
determine benefits due and manage claims to resolution
Negotiate settlements of claims within designated authority and
calculate timely reserves and payments
Manage the litigation process and coordinate vendor referrals for
additional investigation or litigation management
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree
preferred
NV resident and adjuster license required
Over five years of experience with NV Worker's Compensation
claims
Five years of claims management experience or equivalent
combination of education and experience
Subject matter expertise in insurance principles and laws relevant
to workers' compensation
