A company is looking for an Insurance Reimbursement Specialist

Key Responsibilities
Analyze A/R reports and perform collection follow-up on outstanding
receivables
Work with payer websites and tools to ensure timely payment from
third party payers
Identify coding and billing errors and collaborate with departments
to correct and re-bill
Required Qualifications
High school diploma preferred; Billing Specialist Certification or
Associate's degree preferred
5 years' experience in a hospital or medical office with knowledge
of payer types
At least 2 years' experience processing 1500 or UB billing
forms
Demonstrated ability to navigate commercial payer and government
agency websites
Understanding of medical terminology required
