    Responsibilities
    
    
    • Prepare patients for scanning
    • Determine appropriate type and dose of contrast to be administered
    • Provide accurate explanations and instructions
    • Perform venipuncture, IV patency -and maintenance procedures according to established guidelines
    • Monitor the patient's physical condition for any adverse reactions during the procedure
    • Perform any and all other duties as assigned
      Qualifications
      
      Job Requirements
      • High School Diploma or GED
      • A minimum of 3 years' experience in CT scan
      • Active and current New Jersey State License-NJDEP Radiologic Technologist
      • Maintains CEU Credits
      • American Registry of Radiology Technologist (A.R.R.T.) certification
      • American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certificationPreferred Job Requirements
        • Associate's degree is Applied Science
