A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring a Manufacturing Technician.

Position Type: Full time Contract
Duration: 12 months
Location: Ashaway, RI (Onsite)
As a Manufacturing Technician you will be responsible for Performing functions associated with all manufacturing operations, including working with engineers in set-up and calibration tasks, as well as performing rework and quality testing related to the production of parts, components, subassemblies, and final assemblies.
Using sophisticated programs to collect and evaluate operating data to conduct on-line adjustments to products, instruments, or equipment.
Determine and may assist in developing methods and procedures to control or modify the manufacturing process.
Work with engineers in conducting experiments.
Mechanical Assembly Skills: Proficiency in building complex mechanical assemblies.(electrical and optical assemblies, components, and harnesses)


Ideal Candidate will haveHigh School Diploma and 1-3 Years experience
Proficiency in building complex mechanical assemblies.(electrical and optical assemblies, components, and harnesses)
Adept at programming assemblies using relevant software.
Strong computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Windows and Office.
Read and interpret engineering work instructions, drawings, or schematics to effectively perform job duties.


Preferred Skill:Currently or previously IPC J-STD-001 solder certified.

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:
Pay Range: $21-$22.84 per hour.
Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
