Job Description:
A company is looking for a Senior Life Underwriter who will
analyze, evaluate, and classify risk for life insurance
applications.
Key Responsibilities
Review and decide on life applications with face amounts up to
$1,000,000
Request and assure appropriate information for underwriting
requirements, including medical reports and investigations
Prepare presentations for underwriters or sales agents to assist
with training and development
Required Qualifications
2-year college degree in Finance, Business, or Economics
1-2 years of experience in the life insurance industry
Knowledge of life and annuity sales is strongly preferred
Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
Ability to work extended hours and weekends if required
