Responsibilities

• Design and develop end to end statistical/AI/ML model and deploy in production.
• Undertake preprocessing of structured and unstructured data.
• Analyze large amounts of information to discover trends and patterns.
• Present information using data visualization techniques.
• Propose solutions and strategies to business challenges.
• Collaborate with engineering and product development teams.Desired Skills
  • Strong understanding of data structures and modeling.
  • Demonstrated ability to interact with Functional Analysts, Project Managers, ETL developers, and end users regarding data needs.
  • Able to develop hypothesis and validate/testing with data.
  • Knowledge of SQL and Python.
  • Proficiency and application experience in data architecture, data visualization and reporting.
  • Familiar with Hive, Spark, Db Visualizer, Alteryx, Tableau, Omniture, Anaconda etc.
  • Familiar with Microsoft Office products.Qualifications
    • At least 7 years experience in an open-source programming role in the context of predictive and prescriptive analytics, or decision science.
    • Proven experience as a Data Scientist, Statistical Modeling, AI/ML, Operations Research.
    • Experience with statistical algorithms such as linear and logistic regression, decision trees, neural networks, random forests, gradient boosting, SVM, etc. and their applications in a retail environment.
    • Experience with statistical computer languages (SQL, R, Python, etc).
    • Experience deploying above described algorithms on large data sets.
    • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or relevant field; graduate degree in Data Science or other quantitative field is preferred.
