Job Description:

Assists with scheduling and supervision of team members, overseeing daily department operations. Ensures smooth operation of the produce team, maintains displays, and supports team leaders. Provides courteous, friendly, and efficient service to customers and team members. Performs duties in accordance with standard operating procedures and adheres to health and safety regulations.Key Responsibilities:

• Supervises and delegates tasks to produce team members.
• Trains team members with the produce trainer to build a high-performance team.
• Keeps cases and shelves clean, well-stocked, and properly rotated.
• Ensures breaks are given and communicates team concerns to leaders.
• Sets and achieves high standards of retail execution.
• Maintains a positive environment with outstanding teamwork and morale.
• Directs team members to satisfy and delight customers.
• Selects, trains, and develops team members to sustain a high-performance team.Key Skills:
  • Extensive knowledge of produce team procedures and policies.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, motivational, team building, and customer relationship skills.
  • Product knowledge and advanced knowledge of regulatory and safety policies.
  • Proficient mathematical skills and decision-making ability.Requirements:
    • 12+ months retail experience.
    • Ability to lift 50 pounds.
    • Standing/walking 6-8 hours in an 8-hour work day.
    • Ability to work in a wet and cold environment.
    • Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
