About This RoleThis exciting opportunity is for a highly motivated and experienced meat department professional to lead our team in delivering exceptional customer experiences and driving sales growth. As a Meat Department Team Lead, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of retail execution, fostering a positive team environment, and maintaining awareness of customer flows and needs.Key Responsibilities

• Team Leadership: Develop and maintain a high-performance team by selecting, training, developing, mentoring, motivating, and counseling team members.
• Customer Experience: Maintain awareness of customer flows and needs, directing team members as necessary to satisfy and delight customers.
• Store Operations: Assist the team leader in analysis of sales, reports, and labor, and contribute to annual sales and expense projections and budget preparation.
• Merchandising and Inventory: Develop and maintain creative store layouts and product merchandising, working with the team leader to achieve sales, purchasing, and labor targets.
• Regulatory Compliance: Maintain awareness of regulatory and safety policies and procedures, ensuring adherence to all applicable health and safety regulations.Requirements
  • 18+ months retail team member experience and 6+ months of supervisory experience.
  • High energy, enthusiastic, and displays an affinity for our products, core values, and company philosophy.
  • Extensive knowledge of meat products and ability to teach others in a positive and constructive manner.
  • Excellent interpersonal, motivational, team building, and customer relationship skills.Working Conditions
    • Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
    • In an 8-hour work day: standing/walking 6-8 hours.
