Hospital Valet AttendantSchedule: Monday - Friday, 9 AM - 5 PMAt Beacon Hill Hospitality, we look for people who want to help others not because it's their job, but because it's their nature. At this healthcare facility, the Valet Attendant is responsible for providing kind and empathetic service to all patients and visitors -- greeting with a warm welcome, assisting them out of their vehicles, safely parking and retrieving their vehicle and sending them on their way with a fond farewell. Beacon Hill Hospitality Valets are true customer service professionals who inherently love to help others and are happy to eliminate any anxiety that can come with a hospital visit.Essential Duties and Responsibilities (including but not limited to):Open vehicle doors, greet guests, providing a warm welcome to each and every patient or visitorIssue valet ticketsPromptly and safely park and retrieve carsMaintain a clean working environment Find moments to go above and beyond by anticipating patient and visitor's needsEnsure the safe flow of traffic in the driveway/circle - directing traffic as neededAssist with wayfindingEnsure work environment is clean, safe and unclutteredPerforms other related duties as assignedRequired Skills/Abilities (including but not limited to):Possesses exceptional customer service skillsMust have and maintain a valid drivers license and clean driving recordAbility to drive a manual transmission preferredMaintains a warm, friendly and professional demeanor when working with other employees, patients and visitorsAbility to read, understand, and communicate effectively both verbally and on paperAbility to proactively solve problems, but also knows when to ask for helpFor insurance purposes, must be at least 18 years of age and a clean motor vehicle recordEducation and ExperienceHigh School degree or equivalentAt least one year related experience strongly preferredPhysical Demands and Working Environment (including, but not limited to):The physical demands of this position and the work environment characteristics described below are representative of those that must be met by an employee to perform the essential functions of this position.
