Our client, a leading litigation law firm with offices throughout the Northeast, has an immediate need for a Medical Malpractice Attorney - Associate, to join our winning team in Hartford.

Our candidate of choice will be expected to independently manage a caseload involving medical malpractice claims. This is a hybrid role!



KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/REQUIREMENTS:

JD from an ABA accredited law school and admission to the Connecticut State Bar.
1+ to 6 years (maximum) of experience in Medical Malpractice defense litigation required (clerkship experience is a plus).
1 year (minimum) of prior trial experience in Connecticut federal and state courts.
Assist with mediations, arbitrations, trials, and hearings.
Draft and argue dispositive motions.
Perform legal research and prepare and respond to discovery.
Take and defend fact witness and expert depositions.
