Job Description:
A company is looking for a HIM Technician II.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze and review medical charts for billing and compliance with
various regulations
Ensure proper validation and authorization for release of protected
health information
Convert paper records to optical images while maintaining accuracy
and completeness
Required Qualifications
High School Education or equivalent with two years of HIM
experience, or an Associate's Degree in Health Information
Management (HIM) or related field
Eligible to take the Registered Health Information Technicians
Examination
Applicants in the second year of a HIT program or related field may
be considered
Graduate from an accredited program in Health Information
Technology (HIT) is preferred
