We're looking for an awesome Summer Camp Nurse to keep our campers and staff healthy, happy, and ready for adventure! You'll handle everything from bandaging scrapes and administering meds to being the go-to hero for any health concerns that pop up. If you're a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with a big heart and a sense of fun, this is your chance to mix your nursing skills with the magic of camp life! Camp Pontiac, a premier co-ed overnight summer camp in the NY Berkshires owned and operated by two physicians with state-of-the-art health center, 10 Nurses, Health Center Admin, & 3 MDs. SUMMARY: End of June through mid-August (7 weeks) Excellent salary, coverage redundancy, and collaboration Private room & board are included on top of salary Flexible schedule & engaging social experience Down-time for relaxation and day trips RESPONSIBILITIES & REQUIREMENTS: Work directly with physicians & other nurses in administering treatment Administer medications, provide allergy/growth hormone shots (if applicable) 3+ years' as a School Nurse, Registered Nurse (RN), or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) preferably in a pediatric care facility Live and work at camp Valid nursing license in NY State Have the summer of your life!
