We are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team of home health aides in various locations across Westchester County, New York.About the RoleAs a home health aide with New Vision Home Care, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care to our clients, enabling them to stay safe and healthy in their own homes.Responsibilities

• Provide personal care to patients, including bathing, dressing, and grooming, while respecting their dignity and autonomy.
• Assist patients with mobility and transfers, ensuring their safety and well-being.
• Administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals, maintaining accurate records and reporting any concerns.
• Monitor vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate medical personnel.
• Offer emotional support and companionship to patients and their families, fostering a sense of connection and community.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients, adhering to infection control protocols and ensuring a comfortable living space.RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you will need:
  • A valid Certification in Personal Care Assistance (PCA) or Home Health Aide (HHA)
  • Understanding of HIPAA regulations and the importance of patient confidentiality
  • Ability to cook simple meals and perform light housekeeping duties as needed
  • Satisfactory completion of New York State Health Department-approved HHA Training Program or equivalency
  • Demonstrated adequate literacy and simple arithmetic skills
  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Able to read and write at a 5th-grade level
