TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified CVICU RN in Albany, New York, 12208 About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Job Specialty: Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) Job Duration: 26 weeks Shift: 19:00-07:30 Guaranteed Hours: Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of staff CVICU experience License: Certifications: Must-Have: Epic experience, Trauma Level One Experience, Competencies with immediate postoperative cardiac and vascular surgery ICU patients Job Description: - Handle high-acuity patients with advanced hemodynamic monitoring. - Competency in using ventilators, arterial lines, spinal drains, and ECG interpretation. - Monitor temporary pacemakers and manage vasoactive and inotropic drip titrations. - Perform competency tests within 48 hours of application submission. - Efficiently work with immediate postoperative cardiac and vascular surgery patients requiring intensive care. - Provide care for patients with complex needs and support recovery processes.
