TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified PCU RN in Albany, New York, 12208 About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Job Specialty: Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 19:00-07:00 Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: Minimum of 2 years required License: Willing to review clinicians with pending state license Certifications: ACLS Must-Have: Epic experience required Job Description: - Provide care for medically delicate and surgically complex patients. - Treat conditions such as respiratory failure, sepsis, closed head injuries, multi-system organ dysfunction, endocrine disorders, complex traumas, and surgical complications. - Must be competent in medical and surgical populations care. - Use advanced hemodynamics, including pressor usage per titration protocols. - Experience with antihypertensive drips, sedative and Narcan drips, and thrombo-embolytics. - Able to manage a-lines, CVP, EVD, ortho traction, and infection prevention protocols. - Experience with HFNC, BiPap/Cpap, and oxypendent. - Average patient load is 3 high-acuity patients. - Block schedule will not be approved for Mon-Wed; weekend track schedules blocked are acceptable. - Must adapt to floating to other units if required. - Open to candidates with large-scale adult PCU experience and community hospital ICU experience. 26165710EXPPLAT Job Requirements Required for Onboarding ACLS - AHA BLS - AHA Core Competency Pharmacology Skills Checklist Specialty Exam About Cynet Health Your travel nursing adventure begins here.
