Job DescriptionWho we are looking forThe team is responsible for
developing and launching new data products derived from State
Street and third-party data to create value for both the company
and its customers. This includes conducting research, generating
ideas for new products, defining requirements and roadmaps,
collaborating with internal teams to bring products to market,
tracking performance against KPIs (Key Performance Indicators), and
iterating on solutions.We are seeking a Product Development Lead,
Vice President to join our team to drive the development roadmap
forward to successfully launch new data products. This role
requires a combination of market research, technical collaboration,
product design, and stakeholder engagement to build and deliver
data-driven solutions.Why this role is important to usYou will be

- Conduct market research to identify trends, client needs, and
opportunities for new data products.
- Work closely with internal teams across investment servicing,
investment management, markets, Alpha, and alternatives to
understand business challenges and develop data-driven
solutions.
- Develop product requirements, user stories, and specifications
for new data products.
- Manage working groups of data engineers and technology teams to
design, prototype, and build data products and analytics
tools.
- Build and improve robust automated processes in integrating and
managing market and vendor data, ensuring data quality and
reliability.
- Manage the testing and validation of data products, working
with users to gather feedback and iterate on solutions.
- Implement research data products, such as investor behavior and
risk indicators, in partnership with the Global Markets Research
team.
- Maintain documentation of product features, data models, and
user guidelines.
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as customer
adoption, retention, feature utilization, and revenue growth to
refine product offerings.
- Stay informed on industry trends, competitive products, and
emerging technologies related to data commercialization.What we
valueThese skills will help you succeed in this role:
- Strong computer programming skill is essential, preferably with
experience in MATLAB, Python and PL/SQL.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to translate business
needs into technical solutions.
- Familiarity with data product development and analytics
platforms (APIs, dashboards, subscription models, etc.).
- Hands-on experience working with data engineers, analysts, and
technology teams to build data-driven solutions.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and product development
frameworks.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate
across multiple teams and present findings effectively.
- Prior experience in a large, complex organization is a
plus.Education & Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in finance, data science, business, or a
related field; advanced degree preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in quantitative research, product
development, data analytics, or investment-related roles.
Experience working with large financial market data, including
