Job description: Job Summary

The Quality Engineer is responsible for assisting the Quality Manager in developing and maintaining a system to assure that all products manufactured by the organization meet customer specifications and achieve superior quality and reliability levels.

Key Responsibilities

Monitors the quality production program to ensure conformity of purchased material and final products to quality standards.


Prepares quality and inspection plans, procedures, and instructions to assure that quality requirements are clearly defined and understood.


Participates in the review and disposition of non-conforming materials.


Meets with vendors, customers, quality representatives, and company personnel to discuss and resolve quality problems as required.


Participates in cross-training efforts, interfacing with other departments to expand skills and knowledge for advancement.


Develops programs for CMM/ MicroVu.


Performs other duties as assigned by the manager or administration.



Requirements for Consideration

2-5 years in a manufacturing environment preferred.


Experience with programming and operation of Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) preferred.


Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field or an equivalent of relevant professional experience.


Capacity to work independently from general supervision (must be self-motivated once given direction/guidance).
