JOB SUMMARY
NY CREATES is looking for an experienced 3D/Heterogeneous
Integration Engineer to support the AIM Photonics program. This
position will be focused on development activities for next
generation and custom silicon photonics and microelectronics
technologies, including 3D & heterogeneous integration,
interposers, and new material integration. While much of this
position's effort will revolve around building 3D/HI products using
NY CREATES 300mm Si and C4 fabs, there may also be a need for

inspection, testing, and/or development. You must be a self-starter
who can identify problems early and drive solutions with
cross-functional teams.
Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Development of 3D/HI processes and technologies from
conceptualization, to simulation, design, process development,
integration, testing, and delivery of hardware.
Interacting with customers or development partners to understand
the specific requirements of a project and to update on challenges,
risks, and progress.
Coordinating with vendors, such as the mask house, packaging, and
any outsourced processes.
Integration support for the 3D/HI AIM Photonics programs.
Writing reports, papers, and/or patents as appropriate.
Other reasonable duties as assigned.
