Job Description:
Our East Geography is looking for an Electrical Engineer to join
our multi-disciplinary team in our Boston office. We use the latest
design technologies and analytic methods to deliver projects.
Sustainability, carbon reduction, and resilience are key features
of our projects. We are looking for an Engineer who will take the
lead in design and construction for a wide range of projects
including healthcare, laboratories, commercial, higher education,
aviation and rail.Arup's purpose, shared values, and collaborative

better world.The Opportunity
- Support the design of electrical systems for projects,
including power distribution system, lighting, fire alarm,
grounding and bonding, lightning protection.
- Conduct electrical system calculations such as demand load
calculations, short circuit analysis, voltage drop calculations and
photometric calculations.
- Coordinate with multiple disciplines and work in conjunction
with project managers to deliver comprehensive and coordinated
design deliverables.
- Support client relations as it pertains to project delivery and
repeat business.
- Prepare drawings, specifications, technical reports, and
presentation materials and incorporate sustainable design methods
in buildings.
- Present technical material in traditional and innovative ways
for review by technical and non-technical audiences.
- Participate in local Professional Associations.The skills
- Bachelor's degree in electrical, architectural, or building
services engineering required.
- Minimum 4 years of professional experience designing electrical
systems for buildings.
- Familiarity with applicable local codes and standards.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills essential for
team-based work.
- The ability to prioritize effectively, balance assigned work,
and exceptional organization skills required for our constantly
evolving environment.
- Experience with 3D BIM software - preferably Revit MEP.What we

Hiring Range - The good faith base salary hiring range for this job
if performed in Boston is $83,600 to $94,400 per year. This range
is commensurate with experience, educational background, and skill
level. Benefits are not included in the base salary. Please note
hiring ranges for candidates performing work outside of Boston will
