Job Description:
The Baldwin Nursing Program at Siena College is seeking applicants
for a full-time tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant
Professor beginning September 1, 2025. The position includes
instruction in upper-division baccalaureate-level courses. A
full-time teaching load consists of 24 semester hours which are
divided between the fall and spring semesters. All new tenure-track
faculty will automatically be granted three credits of reassigned
time for scholarship during each semester. Candidates also will be
expected to assist with student advising & recruitment and to
perform other service to the College. The Nursing Program is a
dynamic and growing program accredited by AACN. Nursing is among
the largest majors in the School of Science.

discipline of nursing. The Nursing program integrates a caring

reflective practice, and the importance of self-care, our caring

Annual Salary: Assistant Professor: $95,200.00

estimate at the time of posting in compliance with the Albany
County Salary Transparency Law Requirements.
Required Qualifications:
PhD/ DNS/ EdD
Preferred Qualifications:
PhD/DNS from an accredited Nursing School
EdD in Nursing
Evidence of an active program of research
Demonstrate a commitment to excellence in teaching (both classroom
and hybrid platforms) using a Caring Science philosophy.
A minimum of three (3) years teaching in baccalaureate nursing is
preferred
Have a New York State RN licensure
A background screening will be required.
